Marietta, GA | Natural Light Travel Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Wedding, elopement, and natural light portrait photographer based in Marietta, GA. Specializing in candid, natural, and heartfelt storytelling across North Georgia, the Atlanta Area, South Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Florida, and wherever else you will send me!

My editing style features true-to-color darker tones with strong contrast, crisp lines, and a blend of candid and guided images.   I also incorporate grainy film-inspired edits and dramatic black-and-whites with darkened highlights and enhanced shadows for a more artistic creative look.

Hello, I am Heather.

I am so excited you are here! I am a dedicated and detail-oriented photographer and Ordained Minister with a background in education, bringing a unique blend of creativity and organization to every session. With years of experience behind the lens—dating back to the days of film photography—I understand that while technology evolves, the art of capturing timeless moments remains unchanged.

My goal is to bring your vision to life before we even step in front of the camera. Through careful planning and collaboration, I ensure that every shot reflects your unique story, whether it's a wedding, family portrait, or special event.

My photography style is a mix of timeless tradition, creative flair, and heartfelt storytelling—with plenty of fun and a little bit of silliness sprinkled in. I capture the classic shots you’ll cherish forever, while also leaning into the playful, unscripted moments that make each session feel real and full of life.

From our very first consultation call, I want you to feel like you’re chatting with a friend. I take time to understand what matters most to you—whether it’s getting the perfect family portrait, celebrating a milestone, or simply capturing your crew just as they are in this season of life. I’ll help you plan every detail so the day feels relaxed, fun, and completely tailored to your vision.

During the session, expect a mix of gentle guidance and go-with-the-flow energy. I create a lighthearted atmosphere where everyone feels free to laugh, be silly, and enjoy the moment. Yes, we’ll get those frame-worthy traditional shots—but we’ll also chase genuine smiles, goofy giggles, and spontaneous moments that tell your story just the way it happens.

Each gallery is a collection of images that look beautiful—but more importantly, feel like you. Full of warmth, connection, and a whole lot of heart.

Let’s work together to create lasting memories with images that are both authentic and beautifully composed. <3

Need an Officiant / Minister?

Along with capturing your day behind the camera, I’m also an ordained minister via the Universal Life Church Ministries and am available to officiate your wedding ceremony. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or a larger celebration, I can provide a heartfelt, personal ceremony that reflects your story. Couples love the convenience of having both photography and officiant services combined, and I’m honored to serve in whichever way makes your day most meaningful.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Who Can Officiate a Wedding in Georgia?

In Georgia, you have lots of flexibility when choosing who marries you!

  • Religious Ceremonies – Ministers, priests, rabbis, or other ordained clergy can perform weddings that include faith traditions, prayers, or scripture.
  • Civil Ceremonies – Judges, magistrates, or probate court officials can officiate a simple, non-religious ceremony.
  • Family & Friends – Georgia also allows friends or relatives to get ordained online and officiate your wedding, as long as they’re recognized as an officiant and file your marriage license correctly.

The main requirement is that you have a valid marriage license from the probate court before your ceremony, and your officiant signs and returns it after.

What kind of communication can I expect from you?

As your photographer, I am always accessible via email, my website, or phone. One week prior to your wedding, I will reach out to reconfirm your timeline and ensure all details are up to date. The evening before your wedding, you can expect a brief confirmation message from me with a note of encouragement—reassuring you that I am prepared, fully committed, and honored to be there to capture your day.

What if I cannot afford videography? Is this necessary?

While I do not offer full videography services, I’m happy to recommend talented videographers I’ve personally worked with and trust. It is definitely another beautiful avenue to capture more moments of your special day. All of my wedding packages include complimentary raw, behind-the-scenes iPhone video clips, captured throughout your day. These will be transferred to your iPhone before the night is over so you can immediately replay, save, and share those candid moments.

Do I need a wedding planner or coordinator?

This is a tough decision and usually comes down to your budget, family dynamics, and overall vision for the day. While I help create and follow a custom photography timeline based on your priorities and wish list, I’m not able to fully coordinate your wedding day—that role truly deserves its own dedicated professional. I highly recommend hiring at least a day-of coordinator, and I’m happy to share several trusted coordinators I’ve worked with if you’d like referrals.

Do I have to pay for services in full?

Upon signing your contract, a non-refundable retainer of 30% of your total investment package is required to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance is due a minimum of 30 days prior to your wedding. You are welcome to pay the remaining balance in installments or in a single payment. Accepted forms of payment include Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal, or cash.

What is your Venmo ID?

What will you be wearing as my photographer?

I will always arrive in professional, event-appropriate attire with the intention of blending in. You’ll typically find me in neutral or black slacks or dresses—never in anything distracting or too casual. You have my word: I will never show up in spandex and a sweatshirt to photograph your beautiful event. If you are having a theme wedding, I am also happy to participate with your permission.
